Canoeing and leather crafting days

Norvantur and Villmark Adventures invite you for 5 days of adventurous canoeing and traditional leather crafting. An integral part of this adventure is experiencing the freedom of wild camping under the starry sky combined with the comfort of a cozy Norwegian cabin. This mix of nature adventure, creativity and relaxation ensures a balanced and memorable experience.

Canoeing: Throughout the week, we'll explore lakes, narrow waterways, and flowing rivers, immersing ourselves in the Norwegian nature and scenery. You'll learn various paddling techniques and canoe maneuvers, both for solo and tandem paddling, and acquire safety routines. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or have never touched a paddle before, this trip is accessible to everyone. Safety is our top priority, and we provide high-quality canoes, paddles, and safety equipment so you can fully focus on the beauty of the surroundings.

Traditional Leather Crafting: Discover the art of traditional leather crafting using only natural products. Be inspired by working with fresh fish skin to create beautifully functional fish leather. You will also have the opportunity to create your own unique pouch with the leather you've tanned yourself. This hands-on process not only provides a profound understanding of an ancient craft but also the satisfaction of creating something tangible with your own hands. Be inspired by natural materials and discover the creative side of the Norwegian wilderness.

Overnighting in Nature:  We will spend the first three nights with wild camping, in accordance with the Norwegian "Allemannsretten" (the right of every man). Next, we will have two nights in a remote Norwegian cabin to provide a well-deserved dose of comfort.
