3 Days Sea kayak camp at stadlandet

Join us on our 3-day sea kayaking camp at beautiful Stadlandet (sorry guys, this camp is girls only). There will be both kayak rolling and surfing courses, and we will explore the beautiful and wild coastline by kayak. Norway's westernmost coast is rugged and wild, with lush steep mountain sides, exciting caves, large surfing beaches, crystal clear water and green Nordic meadows. It is also a perfect spot for foraging seaweed from our kayaks and wild edible plants along the coast. We will be based at Hoddevika and let the weather and conditions decide which activities we do on the various days. In case of bad weather we have a large tent for sheltering, socializing or it can be used for group discussions/as a classroom.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In bad weather, the arranged activity will continue regardless. If the weather conditions are dangerous, the instructor will cancel the activity. If no alternative is found, Norvantur will refund the registration.

SAFETY

Our outdoor activities have a minimal risk to our participants. At Norvantur, we are trained to assess the risks and trained in rescue techniques and first aid. Severe or extreme conditions are not part of our program.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation by the participant, we charge cancellation costs. These cancellation costs depend on the number of days remaining until the start of the activity. Participants cannot claim compensation in case of cancellation due to ‘force majeure’. In case of cancellation of the activity by Norvantur, the full registration sum will always be refunded. For safety reasons it may be necessary to change the program during the activity.

COVID-19

If you cannot participate to booked activities due to travel restrictions such as border closures, flight suspensions, quarantine, you can postpone the activity or ask for a refund of any pre-payments.
