Norway has almost 100 000 km of coastline, including fjords, islands and skerries. Exploring this diverse & wild coastline from your sea kayak really is a unique experience. Depending on the season and conditions, some stretches can be challenging, exposed and demanding good planning and skills.

NORVANTUR is an ISKGA expedition center and offers both tailored expeditions and coaching towards your expedition. Whether you want support with planning your expedition, improving paddling efficiency and confidence, navigation & decision-making, rescue and safety skills, building full seakayak expedition competence or you are looking for a skilled partner to paddle certain stretches with you, support and share the experience, we're in!

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In bad weather, the arranged activity will continue regardless. If the weather conditions are dangerous, the instructor will cancel the activity. If no alternative is found, Norvantur will refund the registration.

SAFETY

Our outdoor activities have a minimal risk to our participants. At Norvantur, we are trained to assess the risks and trained in rescue techniques and first aid. Severe or extreme conditions are not part of our program.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation by the participant, we charge cancellation costs. These cancellation costs depend on the number of days remaining until the start of the activity. Participants cannot claim compensation in case of cancellation due to ‘force majeure’. In case of cancellation of the activity by Norvantur, the full registration sum will always be refunded. For safety reasons it may be necessary to change the program during the activity.

COVID-19

If you cannot participate to booked activities due to travel restrictions such as border closures, flight suspensions, quarantine, you can postpone the activity or ask for a refund of any pre-payments.
